Defect of the Character: Due to an error in VY's programming she automatically assumes a hostile stance against anyone she encounters and usually will not deem them trustworthy or a non threat unless instructed to stand down by a member of the Broken Volts.
Aspirations: VY dreams of slaying the most monstrous Death Claw she possibly can in an act of revenge against the one that ravaged her tribe when she will still fresh out of a Melding ritual.
Other details: Has been treated as if a living being by her tribe since the day she was spawned in the Melding and is unable to handle anyone treating her as anything less very well.
Background story: VOLT-Y666 was conceived in a Melding ritual just as any other Broken Volt AI would be, her 'parent' AIs uploaded into a computer which then combined the two to produce her. Completely standard is what it would've been if for some incredibly unfortunate reason a pack of Deathclaws hadn't decided to roam into the site of the ritual and start tearing everyone to pieces. The frame VY had been uploaded to was damaged and power to it was cut for just about give minutes, causing the data to become corrupted and a restoration to need to be carried out. During this process an error manifested within her programming that still has not been completely explained up to this very day.
She was given to a young boy for him to work on her as is customary within the Broken Vaults, which is when those around them started noticing the problems which had yet to surface in her AI. An extremely close bond to the boy she was assigned to was formed and everyone else was considered second class to her, with only the Broken Volts truly being able to ever even have a chance at befriending her. Damage to her programming causes her to be unpredictable at times but will probably never actually cause her to harm any of the Volts or her 'owner' directly.
An obsession with bladed weaponry and VY's drive to protect both the Volts and her caretaker allowed her to obtain reasonable combat skill, which was coupled with what had already been programmed into her during her Melding ritual. She plans to continue growing as both a combatant and an asset to her people now that she's finally set out on the road with the only person in the world she considers to be a friend.
