| This lush jungle covers the entire island and surrounds Barren Yard; it is full of mutant abominations of the worst kind and cannibalistic tribes. Among their vegetation one can find ruins and buildings; places that have been turned into small villages, animal nests or areas that have been completely devoured by vegetation. Several places are considered cursed by the tribesmen, in reality these areas are simply nests or hunting grounds for the cazaclaws.

It is a massive mound made from bones, detritus and vegetal materials. It is named so because it is completely barren of life around it and only dust, rocks and bones can be found in its soil. It is a place avoided by all tribes due to the ferocity of the Cazaclaws around, who violently attack anybody who gets too close to their territory or eggs. These ferocious abominations attack and carry people inside of the mound for their younglings to devour, sometimes even while alive. There is supposedly a huge cache of artefacts, weapons and armor down there, remains of hundreds of wretched souls who were used as food.

Tribal lands range in size, population and technology level but most are primitive and smallish. They might be found in ruins of Pre-War buildings, inside natural caves and very rarely in the open. Most tribal lands have one or two hunting grounds and a village where the locals live, work and mate. Most outsiders aren't welcome into the tribal lands due to the distrust generated by the constant war between tribes. Most tribes come and go, that's the nature of the Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland, diseases, war, natural disasters and attacks from mutant creatures are one of the many reasons that can wipe out a tribe at any time, so it isn't weird to find out empty and desolated tribal lands too.

They are named so because one can find small green glass beads or entire craters of crystallised sand that can be found. The glass is Trinitite, the same kind of radioactive Glass that was formed from the Trinity experiment, the first test made with a Nuclear Bomb.
The glass itself its only mildly radioactive but still some localized spots can have lethal levels of radiation.
Like in other beaches the Mirelurks have turned this place into their breeding and hunting grounds, but this particular beach is also attractive to some species of Kaiju, who see their long and ample beaches as the perfect place to put their eggs. Both species have mating seasons at the same period of time around mid-October so during that month and the following weeks its common to see clashes between two species who fight for territories and to defend their eggs. This constant combat has hardened the Mirelurks and weed out the weak, which has made the Mirelurks of Hawaii be considerably stronger than the rest of their brethren.
The local tribes usually avoid the beaches like the plague, but from time to time they expedition to hunt down recently born or still immature Mirelurks or perhaps even attempt to steal one of the few gigantic Kaiju eggs to feed on them.

Since fossil fuels were not enough the country started searching for uranium ore in all the places and Hawaii wasn't an exception. A great uranium deposit was uncovered deep under the soil of the Big Island of Hawaii, quickly the first digging and mining projects began. The mine was open for only a couple of decades, then the Great War came. Since it was a natural underground bunker many people took refugee down there, but the radiation from the own uranium ended killing the great majority and turning the rest into Ghouls, who still nowadays roam the caverns. The mines were reopened by the High Evolutionary so they could use the Uranium to build nuclear bombs and power their Fortress.
