| Commerce in Kaho’olawe is small and relaxed. Since most people have a risky livelihood as artisans, prospectors or small vendors not many caps are moved around at once, and most people will gain around a hundred caps monthy, which has made most shops have cheaps items. Several smaller tents rest next to most home and each family specializes in collecting, crafting or growing something different and they later sell a variety of items like food, seashells, junk and all kinds of handcrated goods. There are only two big shops in Kaho’olawe, and they are big by the island's standards. - General Shops:
The many tents that dot the local town, each selling its own goods.
- Seashell and Bullet casing collar: It looks nice, and might make for a romantic gift: 2 caps each.
- "Jimmy Hat" Condoms: Allows to have sex safely: 10 caps each.
- Sex: Whores are near most ports and docks, awaiting for horny fishermen, mariners and pirates who have been without any erotic contact for months. Each whore will tell you its price.
- Bad Quality Building Materials: Useful to build scrap buildings: 25 caps each.
- Scrap Metal: Useful to do repairs and various jury-riggings: 20 caps each.
- Junk items: From coffee mugs to broken bones, whatever is found ashore or lying around counts as junk. 10 caps each.
- Homemade Moonshine: Careful, this stuff is triple XXX. +2 Charisma for 4 turns, +2 Strength for 4 turns, -2 Intelligence for 4 turns. +25 points of dehydration. 20 caps each.
- Microbrewed Beer: Made locally to be consumed locally. +1 Charisma for 4 turns. -1 Intelligence for 4 turns, +1 Strength for 4 turns. +20 Dehydration. 4 caps each.
- Toys: Useful for both kids and adults to relieve stress and relax. 30 caps each.
- Bobby Pins: Obligatory to lockpick doors, can also be used to have a rad haircut. 1 cap each.
- Sewing Kit: Useful to repair light armor. 50 caps each.
- Cram: Cram is processed meat in a blue labeled tin, primarily used as rations for soldiers during the Pre-War times. +25 Hit Points, +5 Radiation. -35 Hunger. 25 caps each.
- Purified Water: Water that has been boiled and treated with Rad-X to be cleaned. +10 Hit Points, -50 Dehydration. 20 caps each.
- Rat Steak: Made from well cooked rats and seasoned with sea salt. +25 HP, +2 Action Points. -20 Hunger. 15 caps each.
- Grilled Radroach: Looks and Smells terrible, but it's pretty filling: +15 HP. -40 Hunger. 20 caps each.
- Fresh Fruit: Really tasty, specially on hot and sunny days. +3 HP, +10 Radiation. -5 Hunger, -5 Dehydration. 6 caps each.
- Fresh Worms: Can be eaten or used as bait for fishing. +1 HP, +2 Radiation. -1 Hunger, -1 Dehydration. 1 caps each.
- Bullet Bill’s Ammo Shop:
While most of the people of Kaho’olawe prefer to use the old remains of bullets and other ammo to create jewellery and other accessories Bullet Bill prefers to restore them in the form of master crafted bullets and ammo that cannot be found elsewhere in all the Wasteland. While expensive his bullets are very sought, and people of all backgrounds and places come to buy his goods. There are rumours that even the Brotherhood of Steel attempted to recruit him to learn his secrets.
- Standard Pistol & Revolver Ammunition: 30 caps per magazine.
- Standard Submachine Gun Ammunition: 40 caps per magazine.
- Standard Rifle Ammunition: 50 caps per magazine.
- Standard Machinegun Ammunition: 55 caps per magazine.
- Standard Shotgun Ammunition: 35 caps per magazine.
- Incendiary Ammo: It burns enemies for two turns. 110% of regular magazine price.
- Explosive Ammo: Has a 10% chance of breaking armor. 120% of regular magazine price.
- Hollow Ammo: 25% more damage against unarmored enemies. 115% of regular magazine price.
- Rubber Ammo: It’s not lethal, it knocks down enemies. Doesn’t works against Robots. 95% of regular magazine price.
- EMP Ammo: -25% damage to organic enemies. +25% damage against Robots and Power-Armoured enemies. 150% of regular magazine price.
- Tankbuster Ammo: Allows killing vehicles and power-armor users. 180% of regular magazine price.
- Witchkiller ammo: Silver bullets with small fragments of Trinitite dust on them. +25% damage to non Psyker enemies. 145% of regular magazine price.
- Turbopenetrator Ammo: Specially shaped bullets that can be expelled at more than triple the speed. They allow to pierce enemies and attack more than one enemy at once. Can only be used with rifles. 155% of regular magazine price.
- Regular Bayonet: In close range you can use your ranged weapon as a melee one. It counts as a Combat Knife. 300 caps.
- Homemade Scope: It gives +5 to all ranged weapon dice rolls. 200 caps.
- Civilian Scope: It gives +8 to all ranged weapon dice tolls. 250 caps.
- Refined and Oiled Mechanisms: Doubles the Damage of Ballistic Weapons. 500 caps.
- Sharpening Stone: Doubles the Damage of Bladed Weapons. 400 caps.
- Extra Weight: Doubles the Damage of Blunt Weapons. 400 caps.
- 9mm Pistol: 20 WPN damage. 200 caps.
- 10mm Pistol: 30 WPN damage. 500 caps.
- 357 Revolver: 25 WPN damage. 400 caps.
- .223 Rangemaster Hunting Rifle: 50 WPN damage. 700 caps.
- Single shot shotgun: 40 WPN damage. 350 caps.
- Combat Knife: 50 WPN damage. 300 caps.
- Leather Armor: -5 Damage received from melee and unnarmed. +5 to all attack dice rolls. 125 caps.
- Padded Army Clothes: -3 Damage received from melee and unnarmed. -1 Damage received from ballistic, energy and explosives. +5 to all pistol or rifle weapon dice rolls. 250 caps.
- Courier Armor: -2 Damage received from all types of damage. 80 caps.
- Dirty Army helmet: -1 Damage received from melee, unnarmed and energy attacks. -1 Damage received from ballistic attacks. 250 caps.
- Welding Mask: -1 Damage received from melee and unnarmed attacks. -2 Damage received from ballistic attacks. -3 Damage received from energy. +5 to repair. 125 Caps.
- Strange Leather: Leather Pads from various origins, they reek of death and might even be made from human skin. -2 to all damage received. 150 caps.
- Brahmin Leather: Thick leather made from the tanned skin of Brahmins. It is sturdy and flexible. -3 to all damage received. 300 caps.
- Pocketed Armor Mod: You can carry two extra items. 200 caps.
- Lightweight Armor Mod: +15 to all agility and dodge rolls. 400 caps.
- Lucky charm: A lucky charm is any item that is believed to carry luck. It can be a small vial of sand, a coin, a four leaf clover or even the mutated toe of some abominable creature. +1 LCK . 450 caps.
- Homemade Gas Mask: Created from thick cloths, duct tape and recycled filters. It won’t completely protect you against radiation and air pollutants but it’s better than nothing and more than one wastelander owes their lives to these devices. -2 Points of Radiation received. 300 caps.
Civilian Gas Mask: A mask created before the war to be used by people who worked with toxic materials like lead paints or chemical cleaners. It wasn’t designed to protect against radiation so it is only marginally better than homemade masks. -3 Points of Radiation. 400 caps.
- Compass: Very useful among navigators, merchants and pirates alike. It always points north and is a must have when navigating with maps. 200 caps.
- Crowbar: This tool allows prying open doors or anything that it’s bolted down. It can also be used as a weapon (counts as a Monkey Wrench). 100 caps.
- Lighter: This small lighter can be used to illuminate a small area and to set fire to dynamite or anything that it’s flammable enough. 25 caps.
- Flashlight: It illuminates anything that it’s pointed at; it’s powered with a high capacity Fusion Battery. 100 caps.
- Headphones: These allow you to silently listen to music on your Pip-Boy or Radio; this is useful on stealth missions or simply to be polite on crowded areas. 50 caps.
- Basic Reparation Kit: This small leather bag has inside a small set of tools, useful to repair easy things. It grants to whoever wields it +10 to all repair related dice rolls. 250 caps.
