| Nothing inspires fear and pain quite like the flamethrower. A staple of pre-war combat and destruction, this age old weapon has survived the many trials of time and has taken many forms. From a blowtorch to the weaponized flame sprayer of a Mr. Gutsy, this iconic weapon will always find a way to thrive. It's great for crowd control, building demolition, and just general torture. However it is a bit lacking in the range department and if you don't know what you're doing, you can really injure yourself. Plus the whole, 'very flammable ammunition' makes it a risk in heavy firefights. - Weapon Stats:
- Weapon value: 600 Caps
- Ammo Capacity: 1 gallon of flamer fuel
- Time to reload: 2 turns.
- Cost of Ammo: 1 gallon of fuel costs 50 caps
- Cost to repair: 1100 Caps.
- Strength Required: 5 ( If the required strength isn’t met then the player won’t be able to raise the weapon properly, and the dice roll requirements will double )
- Weapon's Dice Roll Tables:
- 0-15: The weapon doesn't ignite until the next turn.
- 16-30: The attack misses.
- 31-75: The attack burns your target. Doing 45 Hit Points.
- 76-90: The attack engulfs your target in flames. Doing 85 Hit Points.
- 91-99: Critical attack. The target is set on fire. Doing 125 Hit Points.
- 100: Extremely critical attack. The target is on fire until they die. Unless the enemy wields Power-Armor.
